check where mypaint brushes are installed on my system$ brew list mypaint-brushes

find brush files location for use in digital painting apps$ brew --prefix mypaint-brushes

see what brush preset files were installed$ ls $(brew --prefix mypaint-brushes)/share/mypaint-data/brushes

verify mypaint brushes package installed correctly$ brew info mypaint-brushes

configure GIMP or other apps to use mypaint brush library$ export MYPAINT_BRUSHES=$(brew --prefix mypaint-brushes)/share/mypaint-data/brushes
